Hawkeye & Dynamic Acquisitions

The Sutherland Group of Companies is excited to announce its recent acquisitions of transportation assets from Hawkeye Holdings Ltd., and Dynamic in early 2023. The asset purchases were made to provider diversification and growth opportunities to Sutco's transportation offerings.

In February 2023, Sutco acquired transportation assets from Hawkeye, welcoming Jordan Wilson to the Sutco team to manage the new heated van freight division. Hawkeye will continue to operate their civil, warehouse, and other offerings out of Kelowna, BC. The acquisition offers diversity in the type of transportation, commodities hauled, and career opportunities for drovers. The new division will service customers in British Columbia and Alberta, with plans to expand across Canada through temperature-controlled trailers. 

In addition to the Hawkeye acquisition,  The Sutherland Group also acquired assets and onboarded team members from Dynamic to service the residual transportation needs for Porcupine Wood Products, Salmo, BC. 

These acquisitions demonstrate Sutco's commitment to providing a diverse transportation offering, expanding its reach to better serve its customers and continue to grow and evolve in the transportation industry.
